CyberQue Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
CyberQue is a practice-question app for professional security certifications. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and who else can see it. It describes what the software actually does, not what we might one day do.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address, and a display name and profile picture if you sign in with Google | To create and identify your account, and to send you a verification link. Google supplies the name and picture; we do not ask for them separately. |
| Account identifier and whether your email is verified | To attach your progress and purchases to you, and to confirm the address is real before an account is used. |
| Practice results — which exam sets you attempted, which answers were correct, and scores by topic | To show your progress and identify weak areas. This is the core purpose of the app. |
| Purchase records — what you bought, when, and the purchase identifiers Google Play issues | To unlock what you paid for, to prove ownership on a new device, and to resolve refunds and billing disputes. |
| App and device integrity results from Google Play Integrity | To confirm the app is a genuine copy and has not been modified. We receive a verdict from Google, not your device's contents. |
| Technical logs, including IP address, recorded by Google Cloud when the app contacts our servers | To operate the service, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse. |
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or usage-tracking software. The app contains no such SDK.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files.
- We never sell your data, and never share it for anyone else's marketing.
- We do not build a profile of you for any purpose beyond showing your own progress back to you.
Who else handles it
Google, and nobody else. CyberQue runs on Google Firebase and Google Cloud, and sells through Google Play:
- Firebase Authentication — your account and sign-in
- Cloud Firestore — progress, entitlements, and order records
- Cloud Functions and Cloud Storage — delivering question content
- Google Play Billing — payments. We never see your card details; Google handles payment entirely and tells us only that a purchase succeeded.
- Google Play Integrity — confirming the app is genuine
Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms. See the Google Privacy Policy. Data is stored on Google infrastructure and may be processed outside your country.
Stored on your device
The app keeps some things locally, which never leave your device unless listed above: your light or dark theme choice, whether you have seen the introductory tour, an in-progress practice run, and an encrypted copy of question content you have unlocked so it works offline. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
How long we keep it
Account and progress data is kept while your account exists. Purchase and order records are kept for as long as we are required to for tax, accounting, and refund purposes, which is generally several years, even after an account is deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period by Google Cloud and then discarded.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and everything attached to it yourself, at once: in the app under the account button, or on the account deletion page without the app. If you can no longer sign in, email developer@immunpilot.com from the address you registered with, and we will delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Purchase records are the exception: we keep them, with your account removed from them, for refunds and for tax and accounting reasons.
Deleting your account does not refund purchases. Refunds are handled by Google Play. Deleting does release the purchase in Google Play, so you can buy it again with the same Google account if you return.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the same address as above. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection regulator.
Children
CyberQue is a professional certification study aid and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how your data is used, tell you in the app.
